GEORGE WASHINGTON’S PRAYER

HIPPY CHRISTIANS
I learned a great spiritual lesson once, even before I was saved. The year was 1969 and I watched the news as Hippies burned down buildings all over the country. When asked why they were doing this they answered, “We’re going to build a new country but we have to burn the old one down first.”
What did I learn? I learned that any hippy can burn down a building. BUT! Did you ever see a building that a Hippy built?
Many Christians today think that they are showing a great deal of dedication to the Lord by how diligently they can destroy a work that some other Christian built. These people really believe that they are doing God a favor by splitting churches and destroying other men’s Christian testimony. But, the truly great man is the builder not the destroyer. ANYBODY can destroy! A five year old can burn down a building with one single match, but they are incapable of building one.
I don’t want to be a “Hippy for God.” I don’t want to be a Christian arsonist. I would like to have the power that Paul spoke of in 2 Cor 13:10!

OUR NATIONAL “CHRISTIAN” APPETITE
Every country has some national “delicacy” that is absolutely sickening. Some eat animal brains, eyes, rotten fish, rotten eggs or other putrid things. Why doesn’t America have a perverted appetite? Because America has always been a Christian nation and the Bible has purged such heathenistic practices out of our society. (I ain’t eatin’ no chicken head!)
LIBERAL FANTASIES
Liberals love pictures of old churches and barns, but they hate what goes on in either. They will fight to preserve the history of quaint villages like the old whaling village of Mystic, Connecticut, but they hate the whaling that went on there. Liberals are mentally ill. They need to be institutionalized before they hurt someone.

CLINTON DOES IT AGAIN
Presently all of the automobile manufacturers have to meet the government’s arbitrarily imposed “Corporate Average Fuel Economy” (CAFE) standard. This limit was imposed on American auto makers in hopes of forcing them to end production of full sized cars and force Americans into compact cars, like the rest of the world. But Detroit learned how to build big cars and still meet the CAFE standard of 27.5 miles per gallon.
During the 1992 presidential campaign, Al Gore was demanding that the standard be raised to 40 mpg. Bill Clinton, knowing that would lose votes, said he would never raise the CAFE standard that high.
He is now proposing an increase to 45 mpg! If imposed, this will succeed in destroying the American auto industry and putting us all in econoboxes and force us into a “poverty” frame of mind. Clinton hates America r

THE DEATH OF MANHOOD
Think of all the great nations that have existed as empires and then “fallen” from their own rottenness. Babylon, Persia, Rome, France, Spain and others. In each case, their men were of outstanding character. Yet once these empires fell, their men became famous for their filth and cowardice. They became braggarts who couldn’t “put up’. They dwelt on their sexual exploits and have little or no character at all.

The latest tactic that the news media has been using to steal Americas’ piece of mind is the “danger” of our public water systems. Before you parrot this Liberal propaganda, answer this question: How many people do you know that have died from drinking public water? Well! How many?!
